[Support request] Removing first image from each post

Hi,

I switched to GeneratePress last month and I would like to show Featured images on my posts, but that doesn’t work well since I get duplicate images because I was adding images directly to post on my previous theme.

And my question is if there is any way that I can remove only first image from each of my posts so that I can show Featured Images on my posts without any problems. I can’t do this manually since I have 18,000+ published posts at the moment.

Any help is welcomed.

Keep in mind that “Display featured images” is disabled right now so you don’t see two of same pictures. It looks like this when enabled: https://ibb.co/rQgDPDj

Unfortunately, the only solution I’m aware of for this is to remove the image manually as they are added to the content itself.

The theme cannot add or remove the content.
