I have some technical issues with removing featured images. I am posting videos to a category on my website. I want the Featured Image to show on the category page, but I want it removed on the single blog post.

I also want to change the color of the title text to Black.

Please assist.

Hi there,

This should help:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/

The archives tab would control the category pages and Posts would control the single posts.

Archive title color option would be in Customizer > Colors > Content.

Single post title would be Heading 1 under the same panel.

Let me know if this helps :)

Thank you.

Neither suggestion worked. I am using the dispatch site.

I did add the Simple CSS plugin but I do not know where to look for the code I need.

Hi there,

did you resolve the problem ? As the Disable Elements > Featured Image option is the way to go.

No, it did not resolve the problem.

The single posts are using a page hero.

Go to Appearance > Elements and remove the header element that has the Posts attached to the display rules.

Let me know if this helps :)

It worked. Thank you.

No problem :)
