Removing Child Categories (Sub Categories) from post permalinks

Hi there,

I'm working on a website with a bunch of child categories - but I don't want them to show in the permalink, as I want the URL to stay neat and short.

Hence, how can i change this:
domain.com/parent-category/child-category/child-category/post-name
to
domain.com/parent-category/post-name/

I can of course select the parent category as the primary category, but that messes with breadcrumbs.
