Removing Blog page widget
3 replies · Started by Angel on August 17, 2017
I built this Blog template using Anywhere Elementor and I have the two columns circled in Red manually built. This is to replace the default Wordpress blog template.
As you can see the built in Wordpress widget (circled in green) with the search bar and the archives is still showing. I have everywhere I can think of I have told GP NOT to display it.
THis is what I have done so far. I have removed all widgets in the
1- Appearance/Customize/Widgets and the Right sidebar so it is empty.
2- From Pages I have selected-
a- Content NO Sidebars
Yet the Search and Archives still show. Can U Help?
Sorry I forgot to include the link to the screenshot so you can see what Im talking about.

Hi there,
You need to set the sidebar layout for the blog in the Customizer: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sidebar-layout/
Let me know if you need more info :)
The master replied above. My reply is invalid :P
