I don't use any widget areas and want to reduce the number of files loading (for performance). Can I safely remove the widget-areas.min.css file and how to do that?

Hi there,

widget-areas.min.css will not load if you're not using any widget areas.

Is the file actually loading on your website? If so, can you link us to it?

Thanks!

Ok, I double checked to remove widget content. It was a bit strange as I've set the widgets to 0, but each of the widgets started reappearing even after footer widgets were set to 0. I had previously put info in the widgets, thinking setting widgets to 0 would remove them, but I had to clear the content in each widget. Now the widget-areas.min.css no longer loads. Great!

Ah, interesting. That sounds like a bug in the theme - thanks for the heads up!
