Remove white space GP / Elementor
7 replies · Started by Stephen on February 21, 2018
Hi,
I have a page with only one Elementor Section inserted at the top of the page, which includes a background image and Elementor Heading widget.
There is a large white space between GP Header/nav and Elementor's first and only Section.
Reducing the Customer - Layout - Header - Padding does help a little, but not very much. There is still roughly 80 pixels of white space.
The 'No Gap' option in Elementor's Sections panel does nothing at all.
Thanks
Steve
Hi there,
Disable the content title should solve the problem: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
You can also do it globally: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_show_title/
Let me know.
Hi Leo,
Thanks, worked perfectly.
As far as I know I haven't input a Content Title, so why does it take up space or need removing?
Thanks
Steve
If you didn't enter a title in edit page, then one is automatically assign with the ID.
No problem!
Oh....... you just have to love ones own stupidity sometimes.
I had input a page title, but thought, at the time, that the title field on the edit page was just for the edit page and did not show on the actually web page. Why did I think this? Because I previously set the H1 tag to white, before I even created the page.. LOL
Hence, I spent 2 hours yesterday looking for a solution :)
Thanks Leo .......... I hope that made you laugh, instead of cry ;-)
haha it happens.
Glad you figured out!
On my website when i go to the ipad and mobile view, my website doesn't seem to fill the whole page and there is a lot of white space to the right of the main content. I have my setting as elementor full widlth - im not sure why it happens
