Remove Query Strings From Static Resources breaks GenerateBlocks

Hello,
I am running in to the following problem when I have “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” activated in my performance plugin (SG Optimizer from Siteground).
I noticed it when I was editing my homepage that was formerly built with “Sections”, as I want to stop using that “old” solution.
I’m now using only GenerateBlocks on this page. It looks kind of random, as some blocks look good and others totally deformed.
Normal view, with “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” deactivated

Error view, with “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” activated

“Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” is deactivated now
Is this behavior expected? Any thoughts or solution to solve this problem? I believe I could simply deactivate “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources”, but I think this is good for performance, right? And, anyway, this behavior suggests some king of error or bug that could be solved.
Thanks,
André
Hi there,
Short answer - don't enable the feature, the advice for doings so is completely outdated, it provides zero performance improvements and it will break any dynamically generated CSS.
Got it! Thanks.
For future reference, I leave these links from GT Metrix and WP Rocket about the deprecated feature advice:
