Remove published date and instead show the date when the post was last updated

Hi there,
how can I show when my post was last updated in my posts instead of when the post was created?
Also, do you think it has a negative impact on SEO, if I do that?

If you want to remove the posted date in the HTML output as well, then you will need this PHP snippet:

Not too sure about the SEO part unfortunately - lots of different opinions on this on Google.
