I am not quite ready to publish posts, but I’d like to get rid of the “nothing found” on the front page as I think it’s stopping google from wanting to index. Then in Dashboard > Settings > Reading set Your homepage displays to your new home page. I actually don’t know what the default “home” page is on the split. When I imported the site, there wasn’t an exact “home” page. You will need to create a new page, publish it and and then set as your Homepage in the Settings > Reading. If you don’t then WordPress will automatically display your ’empty’ list of posts.
