[Resolved] Remove image from post title

I have been searching for how to do this. I went to customizer –> layout –> blog and unchecked the “remove feature image” for posts but I don’t see any changes. What I want to do is to remove the image behind the post title/metadata and have the title font color be black.

I finally figured it out. There’s a gradient overlay I couldn’t get rid of via the elements. I tweaked the CSS file to make the gradient all white.
