How do I remove Footer Credit 'Built With Generate Press'.
I paid for premium and would like to keep the copyright in the footer.
Hi there,
Are you looking to remove the entire copyright bar or just change the copyright message?
Does this help?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/changing-the-copyright-message/#using-the-copyright-add-on
I want to change this:
© 2021 Company • Built with GeneratePress
To this:
© 2021 Company
I did this:
>Copyright add-on is activated under Appearance > GeneratePress
and yes this resolved the issue.
No further questions.
Thank you
No problem :)
Thank you so much Leo!
This helped me as well - I thought I had all the GP modules enabled but when I checked I found the Copyright module disabled. Once I enabled it the Copyright editor box appeared in the customizer menu under Layout->Footer
I thought I was going to have to edit footer.php directly until I found this thread.
Problem solved ;)
Glad to hear :)
I activated premium and unfortunately that copyright line doesn't exist within my customize options.

Any ideas?
Hi Matt,
Can you check on Appearance > GeneratePress if the "Copyright" module is activated?

That fixed it! Sorry, I'm new to GeneratePress. Thanks!
No problem. Glad you got it sorted. :D
I am not sure if I like this two-step process to remove a link when one has paid for premium. I had to google to get here.
