Hello, I’m wondering how to remove the featured image from the top of blog posts. My goal is to get content to the top of the page for SEO reasons.

    Hi Aaron,

You can do so by unchecking “Display Featured images” in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog > Featured Images > Posts. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-overview/

Thank you, I took these steps but the image is still appearing. I may be asking the wrong question. This image is what I would like to move to bring content to top of page.

Oh, it’s added through a Block Element.

You’ll need to open the Block Element for the Page Hero, and remove the dynamic settings enabled for the Container Block.

To easily look for the Block Element, open a Post, and hover on Elements in the admin bar. The specific Page Hero should show there. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uDEwlY

Thank you, I found the single post hero element but I got stuck there. I removed featured image from the element section but it still appears in the post.

    Hi there,

go to Appearance > Elements and Quick Edit the element title: Single Post Hero and change its Status to Draft.
That will disable the hero section. And You should now have the regular post title, meta and featured image.
