Remove comment date time hyperlink

Is there a way to remove the comment date/time hyperlinks?

I know I can hide it with css but it still shows up in the html. I'd like it to not show up in html.

The comment system is handled by WordPress core so if the solution works in a Twenty series default theme then it should work in GP.
If that solution doesn't work then I'd recommend checking with WP's support team.
