Remove Blog Post Header for One Category?

I am trying to remove the sitewide post header for just 1 particular category. I've tried excluding it in the settings, but it makes no difference. I have cleared the caches, too. This is for The Miramichi Reader

I'm going to try the settings again, just to be sure, but I want to make certain that I am not overlooking something.
What I am trying to do is to *not* have the sitewide header image (the image of the bridge) to appear on one selected category of posts. I just want the featured image for that category to appear.
I report back with screen captures if I still can't make it work.

Ok, so I tried it again, this time excluding the category from both the global and post headers, and it worked. I was only excluding it from 'posts' before.
