Hi guys,
i wonder where i can adjust to hide the author name and date on a post.
where is it defined that the author name and date is displayed?

thanks a lot for your kind help

Hi there,

it depends how it has been added to the site.
The default theme templates you can go to Customizer > Layout > Blog, theres options to Display the various meta - see here:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-content-layout/

If that doesn't work then it will be because theres an Element in play. If you can share a link to the site where i can see the meta then i can advise.

Hi David,
this is really a great feature and makes my work a lot easier.

i changed the settings according to your advise but on the main page here:
https://1-2host.com/

there is "unsere neuesten Artikel" (Gelenkprobleme bei Hunden)
there are 3 posts
and you still see the date
the code is wp_show_posts
how can i get rid of the date there?

thanks a lot for your kind help as always and really great feature
thanks Tom

Hi Thomas,

Go to WP Show Posts > All lists. Then, select the list showing in the home page. Then, go to the meta tab. Lastly, disable "Include date".

Hi thanks for your kind answer

where do i find wp show post?
thanks again for your big help

You should see a Dashboard menu item titled: WP Show Posts ?
