[Support request] Remove author link from blog post

Hi,

I saw this link which explains how an auth link can be removed: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_post_author_output/#remove-link

but doens’t seem to work on the Dev-theme by Mike. Looking in the html of the blogpost i can’t find the <span class=”byline”> and that’s why i think the code doesn’t work working. This is how the html look like in the Dev-theme:
