remove author box at the bottom of posts

I'm using one of the templates in Site Library, and have this plugin called "Simple Author Box" to display author profile, which leaves the other author box (the one below Simple Author Box) redundant. Can you help me or tell me how to remove it?

in Dashboard > Appearance > Elements - delete the Hook Element titled: Author Box.
