Reduce padding of .inside-article

Hello,
I am trying to reduce the size of the .inside-header to shorten the height of the white space above content on pages. I have changed the CSS through the editor but it doesn't seem to affect it at all.

What am I missing?

The settings you are looking for should be in the customizer:

That's perfect! And explains why the CSS didn't change it.

I thought I had tried that, but I somehow looked past the Container option.
