[Resolved] reduce length of the site’s footer

Hi,

I tried to reduce the height of the footer in the customizer to no avail. And there’s also white empty space at the bottom which I can’t resolve for the life of me..thanks.Link to the site in the private info field.

There’s an empty paragraph block under the site footer container.

Just need to remove it, the space should be gone 🙂

Ying, I’m sorry. I have checked the block element (site footer), the customizer, and the footer widgets, I can’t find the empty paragraph block you mentioned. Where exactly can I find it?

Hi there,

edit the Footer Block Element, below the parent container in the editor you will see an empty text block, select that and backspace delete to remove it.

I saw that empty text block before and tried to delete it a few times using “remove block” (“shift alt Z) but it didn’t get deleted so I thought —that must not have been the empty text block showing on the screen..so I tried “backspace” and it worked like a charm..what the heck =) Thanks, again!

Yep – i find all the other methods are rather hit and miss. Good old backspace saves the day 🙂
