red telephone in menu bar

I have a Genratepress site and on the menu want a telephone icon.
I have pasted one in but the menu coours it red automatically (icon is black, text stays black, just phone is red) - how do I stop this?
What did you add to make the phone icon show up?

haha it just turned red here too but when I paste, its black first?
That's weird, it's an image (SVG) which could explain it.
Why not use the built in Font Awesome icon? <i class="fa fa-phone"></i>
