How can I recreate the parallax menu and video/photo presentation from Twenty Seventeeen WP theme with GeneratePress?

The video overview should get you pretty close.

Excellent. Think this will work for what I need, I’ll figure it out how to make the parallax effect on the main navigation menu.

Any ideas?

Not precisely. I want the main navigation menu to be below the (video) page header with parallax effect. The Menu Plus addon only gives me the option to create a sticky navigation, but how could I put it below the page header.

If your navigation is set to below the header, you can use this function: https://gist.github.com/generatepress/d25cdc125c7950bffc7223daaeea3065

If it’s set elsewhere, we’ll have to adjust the function a bit.
