Recommended Slider to Use in Header

I wanted to know if there is a recommended slider to be used on the homepage that works well with Generate Press. Right now I am using Meta Slider and running into an issue having it display (even after creating page header & making sure that add on is active) Please let me know, Thanks!

Any slider plugin should work with GP. Meta Slider is very popular. There's also Soliloquy Slider, and Smart Slider 3 :)
From what I can see, MetaSlider provides php code to be added within the theme.php header file. I am having a hard time getting the slider to display in the proper place. Which line of code would it need to be added to to have it display as the only item above the primary navigation?
It should just give you a shortcode, which you can then add into GP Hooks (Appearance > GP Hooks) or your Page Header.
You can also add it in widgets, or within your content.
