recommended method for backing up site

I just watched the video on using the site library, and I'm wondering what is the recommended method for backing up a site. I have used All In One WP Migration to migrate sites with great success. Is that the kind of thing you'd recommend?

Thanks

I backup my files with FTP tool and database with phpmyadmin by simple exporting data.

But if you import it it makes seems to deactivate or rename the domain folder via FTP because during importing database it can crash.

Hi Mark,

All In One WP Migration is a great tool. It's a full replication plugin and it has a nice tool where it lets you edit the URLs so the migrated site's pathing fits to its new site URL/domain when you migrate.

We don't exactly have any specific recommendation other than export/import using GP Premium and WordPress's default exporter/importer but if you find one that fits your needs without any issue, then it should be OK.

Thanks Elvin. I'll use those methods. Very helpful.

No problem. :)
