Recommended Image Sizes

Hi, I'm currently using GP premium with all default settings. I'd like to know the recommended size (width and height) for featured images and blog post (content body) images? In the setting section, I found that the container width is 1200px and the height and width section of the featured image setting is blank.
Could you please help me with that? Thanks in advance.

It depends on where the featured image location is set.
Generally speaking, if the featured image is within the content, then just make sure the width of your original image is a bit wider than your container width setting.

Hi Leo, Thanks for the reply. I got the answer. But what did you mean by ' featured image location'? The featured images are set to show below the title. I'm curious; Is there any way to show the featured images within the content? Like after the first paragraph of a blog post. I'd love to set the featured images after the first paragraph of blog posts.

It will require some custom coding to place it after the paragraph.
