Recent posts in Slide in menu

I have a generate press slidein which displays a custom wordpress menu. I can add links to posts to that menu but I don't want to have to add them everytime I create a new post. Is there a way to do this so that new posts are added to the menu automatically?

If you don't assign a specific menu to the slideout navigation the I think it will automatically add recently created item in?

It adds recently created pages but not posts.
