Read Theme: How Do I Adjust the Single-Color Image That's Displayed With Posts?

Hello,

In Read Theme, the "featured image" becomes a type of banner image at the top of each blog post.

I love this, but want to know how to adjust what from the "featured image" actually shows up.

For example, I like the look of this all-green featured image: http://www.greensplatter.com/nate-sexton-innova-contract-extension-2025/

I got lucky with that one, though.

I don't, however, like the look of this one: http://www.greensplatter.com/wife-sons-eagle-mcmahon-name/

Do you see what I mean?

Is there a (simple) way to adjust what shows up?

Please let me know - thanks!

Warmly,

L.

Hi there,

yeah thats an unfortunate consequence of how the Hero element displays the featured image as a background image.
The default settings of that image are to cover the background with the image centred.

Apart from writing page specific CSS or creating differing Hero elements; there isn't a simple option to change the positioning on a per post basis.

David,

Got it - thanks!

Warmly,

L.

You're welcome!
