Read more only if the text is longer then the excerpt no.

Hi All,

Is it possible to only show the "Read more" button if the the text is longer then the excerpt number? So if the excerpt number is set to 50 and the text is only 40 characters, there is not shown the "Read more" button, Only when the number of characters is >50.

Hi there,

This should be the default behavior as long as you're using the core read more functionality.

Any chance you can link me to a page where the button is displaying even with a short excerpt?
