Hello guys!
I’m using GeneratePress theme with the Premium plugin. I’m having a problem with the “Read more” button or link. It is being displayed even when there’s no blogpost related.I have translated “Read more” to “Leia mais” on the top of the page. The “Read more” is shown with the text ending with a ” /> ” glitch.
What should I do about it?
Thank you!
Best Regardsm

That’s weird. Haven’t had this problem reported before.
Can you try #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts first?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/I do see quite a few console errors on that page.

Have you tried disabling other plugins? I see quite a few errors still.
July 10, 2018 at 5:33 pm #620701DarenYour error for the generatepress.woff2 is caused by wp-rocket generating the critical css, for some reason it duplicates the URL only for this font. I have contacted wp-rocket many times in the last 3 months for a resolution but right not there is no true fix. If you would like to know the work around I use for this let me know.

HenriqueJuly 25, 2018 at 11:53 am #632675DarenLucy from wp-rocket contacted me and as of 7/25 this issue with wp-rocket has been fixed, regenerate the critical CSS in wp-rocket and the error should be gone.

I did what you suggested, but it didn’t work here. Could you please send me Lucy’s contact?

August 3, 2018 at 1:01 pm #639789HenriqueHi guys! I contacted Lucy from WP Rocket team and they said it might be because of something else.
She said we have to take some tags off the theme code.
Here’s her printscreen: https://jumpshare.com/v/xyaPt3Fn5qi98INAlV1wAny ideas how to solve this?
Thanks!
HenriqueAugust 3, 2018 at 8:16 pm #639982TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperI guess the real question here is why there’s read more buttons way up above your header.
Do you have anything added in GP Hooks?
August 6, 2018 at 9:15 am #641732HenriqueHi Tom!
GP Hooks is clear….it wasn’t even enabled. I set it on now just to see if there was something odd…

August 6, 2018 at 10:15 am #641786TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperDid you ever end up deactivating your other plugins just to rule out a plugin conflict?
February 22, 2019 at 5:39 am #817467HenriqueThe problem is a conflict with Yoast plugin.. ;(
