How do I get the read more to display once? This appears to be a common issue but I cannot find a simple fix without a load of other requests needed requiring special CSS. I just need to know how to remove either the native read more that comes with a WordPress query or the read more add by the GP Theme with a query. Thank you.

    Hi Tawna,

That’s not the default theme behavior.

Any chance you can link us to the site in question and point us to where we should be looking at?

You can use the private information field.

Hmm I’m not 100% sure but it doesn’t look like either Read more is coming from the theme.

Can you disable all plugins except GP premium to test?

If that doesn’t solve the issue then can try activating a Twenty series WP theme to test if the issue exists there as well?

    Let me know 🙂

It is coming from Gutenberg. I have 7 sites running on GP (same setup/same plugins) and this is the only site doing this. I am just out of my own ideas on how to fix it.

    Hi Tawna,

Are you using a Read More Block or a more block in your posts? Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8Lu0oDrx

If not, at the moment, what’s causing this exactly. It might be because of an optimization plugin. If so, can you try temporarily disabling plugins like ezoic – any caching/optimization you have to test.

    Kindly let us know.
