Hello,
the text "read more" doesn´t change, altouhgt I change it in Design > Blog....
I use your site library DONTATE.
maybe you could have a look...

Do you mean the read more showing on homepage?
That section is using the WP show posts plugin, you can change or remove the read more text at dashboard > WP show posts > Latest Posts > contents > text read more.
