Question about featured images

Hi,
I have a featured image on each of my blog posts. I am using "recent posts" blocks on my homepage and have the featured images showing up there. I don't want the featured image to show up on my actual posts when a user is reading, because the featured image makes the user scroll down to read the content. So, I unchecked the boxes for featured posts on Customize>Layout>Blog.
But I would like the images to show up when someone clicks on my menu items to see the posts in that category. For instance, if you click on "Destinations", the article is there, but no featured image.
Is it possible to do what I am trying to accomplish? I want the featured images to show up everywhere except on the actual content.
Hopefully, this makes sense.
Here is my site.
Thanks!
Steve
Hi Steve,
- The customizer doesn't/shouldn't control the featured image display in the Recent Posts block.
- The Featured Images option in the customizer allows you to choose different options for Archives, Posts and Pages using the tab control:

Sounds like you just want to click the Posts tab and uncheck Display Featured images.
Let me know if this helps :)
Thank you! That was exactly what I needed.
No problem :)
