Is it possible, with GP, to do away with the mobile menu hamburger or button type menu configuration and just have the navigation menu items responsibly stack? If not with GP, maybe you could suggest a menu plugin that would?

My Bottomline here is just to have the top-level nav menu items always displayed along with a dropdown arrow of there are sub-menus. It doesn’t really matter to me if it’s “progressively collapsing”, transformed into tabs (on mobile) or stacking in columns and rows.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Been playing with this – not as easy as I thought it may be.

The actual menu toggle gives the navigation a toggled class, which is used throughout our CSS to build the mobile menu.

Without that class, it would take a lot of CSS to achieve a similar layout.

We can’t give the navigation that class, or else it will apply on desktop as well.

One option is to copy the main navigation and hide it, but give it that class by default. However, that requires having two primary navigations in your HTML (with duplicate IDs etc..).

Let me know if that’s something you want to explore.
