I am having problems with the Products page and Woocommerce, I am working with Elementor. When I created the Products page I wanted it practically clear. I hide slide bar, the title and 0 widgets. However, when you go from the Shopping Cart to the Products Page (It has been blocked twice and I cannot view with Elementor) I view sidebar and widget (the whole products). What can I do to hide those?
I addition I cannot view the pages related to Woocommerce such as Product page, finishing purchasing and so on. It appears an error “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.” Is it any way to fix this problem. The Elementor page recommend to add <?php the_content(); ?> in the following web page (https://docs.elementor.com/article/56-content-area-not-found?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn).
What can I do?Thanks so much for your help. I am really frustrated because I wanted to public my web page next Saturday but with these troubles it wouldn´t be possible.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Maria,
So are you trying to remove those elements on the main products page? If so, try creating a new “Layout” Element in the Elements module: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/
Disable whatever elements you need, and then set the Display Rules to “Product Archive”.
As for the Elementor issue, you’ll likely need to contact them about that. GP uses
the_content()
where necessary, so it’s likely something else going on that they might be able to shed some light on.Let me know if you need more info 🙂

Hello,
I will try to tell you what is happening. I am facing problems with the Woocommerce plugin. Within Woocommerce with the Shop page and checkout pages. I deleted the shop page and created a new page in blank; however in the new page where I did not create anything it appear the products catalogue, the title of the page and a sidebar as you can see in the following link (I followed your instructions to create an element layout)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13HS0IZNxm5vVRQm5vZxRISGT8-CrGdU9
If I deactivate Woocommerce plugin the problem disappear. I would like to know what can I do, because I read in the foro that you can deactivate the plugin that is causing problems and activate when you finish the page. But, in my case I have done this and when I activate Woocommerce again, the problem continue as you can see in the following picture
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KU60NCSXAZ0kPjTl0Danbeb7hnQCnNny
If I do any change in the GP Woocommerce I can see them in the the shop page (for instance I change the visualization of the products (category and products).
I hope you can help me.
Thanks

Hello,
Partially I solve the problem with GP. However, is it possible to deactivate the products in the shop page. I don´t want to show products there I created a different pages by category to show the products. But if I deactivate all the boxes en the personalization Woocommerce page I can´t see them in other pages like product page when I include related products. The problem with Elementor and Woocommerce continues.
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Maria,
So you want the shop page to be a regular static page with no products?
If so, something like this might help: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-set-regular-page-as-woocommerce-shop-page/#post-323223
Let me know 🙂
