Hi
I’m using the Split theme.
The desktop screen works well, but I can see ‘Menu Item Sperator’ in the header on the tablet screen and nothing on the mobile screen when I press the ‘Menu’ button.PS. When I downloaded the theme, I saw a 400error message in step 2, so I only finished step 1.
I don’t know if there’s a problem with it.I can’t find a place to have a private consultation at Generatepress.
I hope I’m right to ask a question here.
I am not very good at English, so it is a little difficult to ask and interpret the answers, so I hope that there will be an easy and simple answer if possible. Thank you.September 23, 2020 at 4:47 am #1455180David

Hi David,
I tried a few things to check if it was a problem of 400 error.
There was no problem when the first stage was installed.
It seems to be a problem caused by the installation of step 2 not completed due to 400 error. So I think I have to change the question.
“What should I do to solve the 400 error problem?”September 23, 2020 at 6:48 am #1455300David
StaffCustomer SupportThis article explains how to fix the missing menu on mobile:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/#empty-off-canvas-navigation
TLDR – go to Appearance > Menus. Select the menu you want to display, and check the Off Canvas Panel location.

Thank you, David
I did it the way you told me.
Now I can see the menu on mobile.
But I see ‘Menu Item Saperator’ that should not be seen on tablets and mobiles.September 23, 2020 at 7:31 am #1455347David
StaffCustomer SupportI am not seeing that on the mobile menu:

I have checked that this problem only occurs within the dashboard> appearance> costomizer.
It’s a problem that the dashboard screen and the actual screen are different, but it doesn’t matter because there’s no problem with people accessing my site. (but something bothers me.)
Let me know if you know why this looks different.
Even if there is no way, I’ll take it that way.
Thank you.September 23, 2020 at 8:13 am #1455566David
StaffCustomer SupportThe issues within the customizer is that it renders the menu HTML differently – so Custom Classes such as the one the Split Menu Item uses cannot be styled.

If I understand correctly, this is a kind of nonexistent problem?
It’s the limit of the customizer, right?
It’s a rough idea, right?September 23, 2020 at 8:32 am #1455598David
StaffCustomer SupportThats correct – the problem only shows in the Customizer. It will be 100% ok on the live site.
