    Sebastian

    Hello,

on my site (link see below) I have the following problem:

I have a banner at the top of the screen. When scrolling, it disappears in the background and is overlaid by the main menu.

However, the bigger dilemma is: on the mobile device, when I unfold the menu, it disappears as soon as I scroll. So the menu doesn’t stay open when I scroll down the website but closes on its own. This makes it impossible to click on some items in the main menu.

Maybe you can open the page once on your smartphone, then you will see it immediately.

I’ve had this problem before on another site. I don’t remember how I had solved it, though.

    Thank you,

    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

For a long menu like this, I would recommend using the off canvas menu.

You can enable it at customizer > layout > off canvas panel, make sure you assign a menu to the Off Canvas Menu at appearance > menus.

For the overlay issue, do you want the topbar to sit on top all the time?

Set thee z-index value of container block (topbar) to 101, instead of 100.

Hi Ying, off canvas is much better! Thanks!

The overlay issue problem isn’t solved with z-index. Any more ideas?

    Thanks,

    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

Can you try a higher value for the z-index like 1000 to test?
