Problems since last update

Hi,
I am having a few new problems with adding a feature image to a post and adding links to text. Also, I can't open up the screen options panel at the top of a post or add post tags.
These have just occurred since a recent GP update.
I'm running GP Premium 1.2.96 with a child theme.
Anyone else noticing these errors?
Also ..I run a couple of sites on the same shared hosting service.
The site with these problems is running GP Premium 1.2.96
The second site with no problems is running 1.6.2
And another thing ...
there are no problems writing short posts work, but the problems appear after posting.
Can I roll back a GP update to a previous version?

Hi Rob,
The latest version of GP premium is 1.6.2.
If you are having problems for sites on 1.2.96, then I would definitely update to 1.6.2.
Let me know if I'm missing something here.

I did the update but the same problems continue.
Now I wonder if it's a server side problem.

I can see the featured images in both posts page and single post in the link you provided.
And what problem are you having adding link to text?
I would give #1 a go for the screen option problem: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
Make sure you are all up to date with WordPress too.

Here is the basic problem.
1. create new post and add text. everything is ok.
2. publish or save draft.
3. then problems happen. some functions stop working like tags, adding links to text in the post and the screen option tab at the top.
4. the host provided checked resource and there is no problem there.

Unpluging plugins located the problem.
The latest version of Free & Simple Contact Form Plugin - Pirateforms caused problems.
