Problem with the excerpt / title of the post

Hi,
I'm having some problems with the excerpt. I made a post grid + some posts. But I don't want the title to be above the image > so I created a 'new' title. But this is seen as text so it also appears in the excerpt. On the news page you see twice a title. Is there a possibilty to (maybe with a CSS code):
1. get the title after the image or
2. not showing all the text in the excerpt.
Or any other solution to solve this?

you can change the Image to be above the title in Customizer > Layout > Blog --> Featured Images

Make sure you have enabled the Blog module first in Appearance > GeneratePress
This was not completely what I meant > Because I prefer not to use the featured image. But it solves a little bit of the problem.
But then, is it possible to align the title in the middle too?
The logins you've provided in the original post isn't working for me.
Can you double-check?
