Problem with Soliloquy Slideshow

Hi there - I have a few client sites which use GP Premium and the pro version of Soliloquy. I have been trying to get Soliloquy to solve this for ages but they don't seem to be getting anywhere. Basically I have had to keep Soliloquy down to a previous version (2.6.0) for these clients because otherwise the slideshows won't run properly on macs, iphones and ipads. It works fine on Windows machines

It happens with both GP Premium and the free Generatepress. It doesn't happen themes other than Generatepress

Here is a really simple example - https://cdtestserver.co.uk

Please help!

Hi Charlotte,

I cannot see how this would be GP issue at all - Soliloquy is quite popular among our users and we haven't had any other reports on this.

Did the support team of Soliloquy explain why they think it's a theme issue?

Does this issue happen with all plugins and custom functions disabled except for Soliloquy?

Soliloquy didn't say it was a theme issue (they haven't managed to solve it). However, I am using Soliloquy with other themes and the problem doesn't occur. In the example I have given you, there are literally no other plugins installed .. it is simply Generatepress free version plus Soliloquy

I was hoping that you will be as keen to solve it as I am

I would assume that if it's anything related to the theme then their support will blame us right away.

I would like to help to solve it but not really sure what to look for - GP doesn't have any code that has the ability to make their plugin not work.

Can we wait for the response from their support team first?

OK that's fine. But just to clarify, they have been very responsive and helpful and they haven't blamed the GP theme at all. I just came here as I knew your support was good and I wondered if you had any ideas

Sounds good.

If they can point out the issue or give us an idea of what to look for, we are happy to take a look.
