problem with saving draft post

During the last couple of days, I have problems saving the drafts of my posts. This morning I saved the same post three times with all the changes but on the Posts menu I can only see the last saving from yesterday. Is there a problem with Generate or WordPress?
In addition, it seems that there is a problem of publishing certain parts of the post. I use the block editor and have saved blocks to re-use but it seems that some of these are not recognized?
Finally, the strangest of all is that Yoast does not even recognize the amount of words in the post which is about 250 words and Yoast states 0 in my SEO check.
Please advise.
Thanks
Hi there,
These things are all handled by WordPress itself so I highly doubt that it's a theme issue.
Maybe try disabling all plugins to make sure there are no conflicts?
I think I found where the issue is. It seems that re-usable blocks in Gutenberg are not recognized by Yoast at present and also can't be saved for a reason. Maybe the block editor needs to be updated. I will send a query in the WP forum.
Here is the Yoast post: https://yoast.com/help/error-text-contains-0-words/
So I deleted my post written with the re-usable blocks, I re-posted it in a regular Gutenberg file and it was OK. I tried to use different re-usable blocks but nothing seemed to work. It's a bummer because they are so useful and cut my publishing time by half. And it has worked in the past.
So basically it was a learning day today but my time management is out of the window!
Yeah reuseable blocks seem to cause some headaches such as this.
It's a good feature but definitely needs some improvements from WordPress.
Glad you've figured out the issue though :)
