I heard back from the uber menu support with this message and I don't have any idea on what to do?

That type of issue would generally occur due to assets loading after the HTML, for example a deferred stylesheet or Javascript acting on the elements. In this case the first thing you'll want to do is integrate properly to remove the residual styling from the theme with the GeneratePress integration guide.

Any suggestions on how to implement that?

Hmm I'm not quite sure what they are referring to.

It's their element that's loading incorrectly.

Any chance you've tried disabling all plugins except GP premium first? If that doesn't work, what happens when you disable GP Premium as well?
