Problem with Google Ads within 2-Column (Gutenberg Editor)

Hi there

I have a problem when I define two columns in Gutenberg Editor. In the right column I want to place an advertisement (see picture 1, https://imgur.com/a/ulUtB4t). As soon as I insert the HTML code, the right column gets extremely warped and is only very narrow (see picture 2, https://imgur.com/a/GShuk3o).
What can I do?

Best regards
Michael

Hi there,

Did you resolve the issue ? As the advert looks fine on my browser. Let me know.

Hello David.
Sorry for the late reply.
I found a workaround where I modified the Adsense code so that the ad is played with a maximum width of 300 pixels.
If I use the original Adsense Code (without adjustment), the right column is displaced again.
Any suggestions how to solve this problem?
Sincerly yours, Michael

Edit each of the Column Blocks - there is a setting to adjust their widths. By default they are on Auto. Try changing them both to 50%. This should stop the columns from collapsing.

If not you can try the Grid Block in our GenerateBlocks plugin.
