April 4, 2023 at 3:21 am #2596032BeatrizHi Ying
Exactly, no, it doesn’t allow me to change the permalink structure.
I had already noticed that, but as I’m going to start a new site, I thought to change the url structure at the end, when I’m already online, due to server restrictions, but I didn’t think that it would generate problems to install plugins.April 4, 2023 at 3:28 am #2596046BeatrizI tried to explain the problem to the hosting technician and this was his answer

To activate https the domain name must be transferred to the new server. I’ll see if there is another solution (use www2.domaine.org temporarily, although often wordpress does not allow to change easily from www2 to www once the new site is finished).
—–April 4, 2023 at 6:49 am #2596302DavidStaffCustomer SupportThe difference between HTTP and HTTPS i don’t think is the issue.
It sounds more related to the permalink stucture.
This:
Permlink Structure Error A custom url or permalink structure is required for this plugin to work correctly. Go to the PErmalinks options Page to β¦.
Does this happen with every plugin you try to install ?
April 4, 2023 at 9:36 am #2596704Beatrizhi David,
I managed to install the Polylang plugin, I think it is working fine.
The answer from my hosting is that it will try to add the curl module,
thank you
April 5, 2023 at 3:57 am #2597707DavidStaffCustomer SupportAh yes the cURL module is pretty important π
Glad to hear you got it working.
April 6, 2023 at 11:11 am #2599981BeatrizHi
The technician has said that he installed the php cUrl on the server.
Now it is possible to change the urls, and apparently GP is installed but
when I want to add the license for the updates, I still get the same error :License Key
403 Forbidden. Your server is not able to communicate with generatepress.com in order to activate your license key.Il try the API method Again
but I have the same message :Scrape key check failed. Please try again.

April 6, 2023 at 3:12 pm #2600185LeoStaffCustomer SupportJust to confirm, have you tried all 3 methods listed here?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/license-key-activation-issues/#403-forbidden-when-activating-license-keyApril 14, 2023 at 3:43 am #2609469BeatrizThanks to all, it is already solved, the problem was that my Hosting did not have the hyperlinks with the good permissions. it was missing the mod_rewrite. It is working now.
