Hi Team,

How can I create a primary navigation menu without the dropdown icons? Something like the Generatepress menu bar in the documentation section.
I don't want to show the sub-menu items appearing as a dropdown.

Request your guidance.

Hi there,

Something like the Generatepress menu bar in the documentation section.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this. The menu on the documentation page doesn't have a dropdown icon because there's no submenu to display. If it had one, a dropdown caret icon would likely be included to indicate a submenu to be shown.

I don’t want to show the sub-menu items appearing as a dropdown.

Can you provide us a mockup of how you want the submenu items to show up? Would you like it to be expanded on page load? Perhaps not display submenus at all?

If you can link us to a reference site you'd like to replicate, we can check it for you and figure out what can be done.

Let us know. :D

This site's link is a basic menu w/o submenus to the parent menu items.

You can do this purely from WordPress' UI.

You can try removing the submenus added on the menu you use on Appearance > Menus if you don't need the submenus.

Okay. thanks for your guidance.

No problem. :D
