Primary navigation CSS when "No Navigation"
1 reply · Started by Simon on December 29, 2017
Hi there,
I'm a new GP user and am loving it so far, but after trying to integrate UberMenu I've found a possible general issue.
When Customizer -> Layout -> Primary Navigation -> Navigation Location is set to No Navigation, GP still spits out the primary navigation CSS with an id of generate-style-inline-css.
This superfluous CSS isn't a major problem, but it isn't used so is inefficient and may clash with CSS that is actually used in a replacement nav menu.
Is there a way to prevent unused CSS from being emitted ?
Hi Simon,
Currently it's not possible to remove that CSS due to the caching CSS (which is worth the extra CSS when it comes to performance).
I'm working on a way to reduce it as much as possible though.
That being said, there shouldn't be any conflicts: http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/theme-integration/generatepress
