Primary Menu not showing

Hi,
I have created a new test site for some experiments. I have also used one of the design templates from the Site Library. However, my primary menu is not visible and I can't figure out why that is.

Looks like the entire header is removed in your site which isn't the case in the default site:

Is this happening on every page?
If so have you created any layout elements or added any custom functions?

Yes, it is on every page. I just started with the website, I haven't created any elements and I don't see what in my child theme could cause this.
Can you activate the parent theme to test first?
