Pre-publication Tips -> site speed etc Test?

Hi there,
we are on the brink of releasing a new page publically.
So my question is for some tips/best practice.
Is there anything you always do before leaving the sandbox? Some certain speedtest? Some special plugins (i read about autooptimize and lighthouse in here a few times)?
Hi there,
That's totally up to you.
Personally, I usually do speed tests and optimization after the site is published.
I usually perform the following tests before (or mostly: after) publishing a new site:
CSS validation
HTML validation
Several performance tests (Gtmetrix, Lighthouse, Yellowlab etc.). One single test does not provide enough information.
A browsercheck does not hurt (Lambdatest).
Technical SEO tests (Ahrefs)
Always a good idea to check the JS console for anny warnings or errors.
Most services provide a decent amount of information for free. You don't get all the good stuff, but it is usually sufficient.
