Hi team! A while since I have required support, which is testament to the great theme you have here! I am having an issue with a plugin that uses short codes to display some backend widgets in the frontend via a page.
This error only occurs on one of my GP installs, despite them (two sub-domains) being almost identical. I have been through all the normal trouble shooting such as changing themes, activating plugins one by one etc, but still can’t work it out. It was recently escalated to the plugin developer whose response I will list soon.
The error:
When logged in as admin, these short codes (from the Learndash Propanel plugin) appear to function correctly. However, when a group leader role is logged in (essentially a teacher whose class are the subscribers), the widgets appear once or twice, then cease to appear again. This is a problem because the widgets allow teachers to access reports / data from their students.
Developer comment:
This morning the developer got back to me and this was the reply:
When I login as the Group Leader on the live site I do see the ProPanel widgets on the WP Dashboard.

Looking at the browser console output I see lots of error. https://monosnap.com/file/LuPMSpREQzEKEf5AtBrPcFcwKYfQ4p.png maybe this has something to do with why no content is seen.
The ProPanel shortcodes will initially output just placeholder HTML elements like the following
T
hen when the page loads there is some JavaScript which kicks off does some AJAX calls to retrieve the real data to be inserted within the placeholder. This is same method used on the Dashboard widgets. Also on that same page looking at the console network tab I don’t see the JS file ld-propanel.js even being loaded. So this could be part of the issue. This might be a theme issue.

February 16, 2018 at 9:33 pm #498618TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Those console errors aren’t from the theme. There seems to be some sort of XML parsing issue happening within a script named bag2 inside a folder named cdn-cgi.
Does that file ring any bells?
February 16, 2018 at 10:13 pm #498633CarlI can only assume a folder named cdn.cgi is related to my Cloudflare account?
Do you think that would be a good assumption to make? What’s a logical step – contact them and see what it might be?
Thanks for this heads up by the way.

Tom you are an absolute legend, I enabled the “Rocketloader” feature on my Cloudflare account 17 days ago. Unchecked it just now after your heads up and a little Googling. BOOM – problem fixed!
Can you please flick me your email – I really want to send something your way for solving this for me. Seriously.
You guys continue you to offer the best support of any product I have purchased.
