Posts versus Pages

Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to create a post on a specific page. Not sure if it can be done in the GP theme?
When I write a blog post I have it set to go onto the blog post page. But, I also want to create a recipe page with recipe posts under that page only. If I create just a recipe as a post, it goes under the blog page and recipe page both.
Hopefully, this makes sense!

Not 100% if I understand.
Maybe using the WordPress category is what you are looking for?

WordPress automatically generates category archives which display posts under the specific category.
