[Support request] Posts showing up under the wrong category

I’m having a problem with posts showing up under the wrong category. Here is an example. https://christianobserver.net/category/the-compromised-church/discern/hebrew-roots/
The first two posts that come up are not in the “Hebrew Roots” category, and there is no sub-category for “Hebrew Roots.”

Hi Yvonne,

That does look odd.

Can you try disabling all plugins except GP premium to test?

And if you are using a child theme, can you also switch to the parent theme to test?

I tried both. There was no change… That would rule out the Generate Press theme, wouldn’t it? 🤔

GP actually doesn’t interfere with the loop functions, it’s handled by WordPress.

If you can create a staging site and provide admin login, we can help do some digging 🙂

So next, you can try activating plugins one at a time, but keep the cache plugin deactivated.
Check if there’s any change after a plugin is activated.
