I have added 2 screenshots. As you see, the post and comment form does not fit into the screen of mobile devices.

Do you mean there's no padding around the content?
If so, it's because the post's content container is set to full width which strip the paddings added by customizer.
There're several places you can check:
1. Go to the post editor, check the layout meta box:

2. Go to appearance > elements, check the layout element, if there's one assign to posts or its location rule covers posts, check the container tab.
If any of them is set to full width or contained, change it to default.
